Improving Train Unloading System

PROJECT SUMMARY

PPM were engaged for Project Management, tasked to improve the reliability of train unloading system.

The rail unloading system needed to manage range of coal types delivered in different wagon designs with and occasional sticky coal that would affect unloading reliability.

PPM provided a team with engineering expertise to deliver electrical, mechanical and structural specifications, functional specifications, construction supervision and commissioning.

The team successfully  installed the new proprietary design door triggers into an operating facility on time and on budget.
