Manager Mining

The Opportunity

PPM is seeking a highly experienced Manager Mining to lead our mining capability across studies, operational improvement initiatives and project delivery activities.

This role will work closely with clients to identify opportunities, solve operational challenges and deliver practical solutions that improve productivity, reliability and performance. You will provide leadership to technical teams while supporting the continued expansion of PPM’s mining portfolio nationally.

This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who enjoys balancing technical expertise, people leadership and strategic growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
Lead mining projects, studies and operational initiatives.
Develop strong relationships with mining clients and stakeholders.
Support business development and growth opportunities.
Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams.
Mentor engineers and project professionals.
Identify operational improvement opportunities.
Support tendering and proposal development.
Drive safety and delivery excellence.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
RPEQ highly regarded.
15+ years’ industry experience.
Strong underground and/or surface mining exposure.
Demonstrated leadership capability.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
